Constellation Realizations

Published August 16, 2020

FoxTrot comic strip by Bill Amend - "Constellation Realizations" published August 16, 2020 - Jason Fox: I just had a cool realization. Paige Fox: About what? Jason Fox: As you probably know, all the constellations we see are determined by our vantage point in space relative to visible stars. Since there are essentially a near-infinite number of stars and vantage points out there, it stands to reason there'd be a near-infinite variety of possible constellations as well. Which means it's likely that SOMEWHERE in the universe, you can see stars spelling out the words "JASON IS GREAT." Man, I want a spaceship so badly. Paige Fox: Doesn't that mean there'd also be a place where stars spell out "JASON IS A DWEEB"? Jason Fox: I need to stop sharing my realizations. Paige Fox: Now I want a spaceship.
