Hairdresser: So basically a trim? Jason: Is that what a back-to-school is? Hairdresser: Usually. Jason: Dang, I was hoping it meant something more interesting. Like maybe you'd give me dual mohawks to form a big roman numeral "V" since I'll be in fifth grade, or you'd shave some sort of message onto the back of my head like "I heart homework." Or, I dunno, you might even do both! Hairdresser: Is that your mom sitting over there? Jason: The lady glaring at me right now with no discernable sense of humor? Yeah. Hairdresser: Let's go with a trim. Jason: Maybe you could just say your scissors slipped?
